Hylunia and Hymed Skincare - Core Ideology

While many companies are built from a profit motive (and we do not have anything against them), Hylunia was founded with the core purpose of benefiting humanity. The combined experience of the team of experts that came together to create Hylunia exceeded 200 years! And, they all had only one goal - To gift humanity an entire range of skincare products that would be safe, anti-inflammatory, and highly effective. They achieved this in 1988 when the company was founded. It has been 30+ years since then and Hylunia and its leadership are still moving forward with the same core purpose, the same values, and the same mission with which it was started. This is no mean feat.

    Effectiveness of Hylunia products. Customers expect a product to work and we have to deliver on this basic expectation - a basic principle of Ayurveda.

    Ensure the long-term safety of our customers. We do not use ingredients that have not been proven to be anti-inflammatory and safe for the health of our customers in the long-term.

  4. BE TRUTHFUL AND HONEST

    Be truthful and honest based on science. Let modern science and ancient Ayurveda (5000-year-old science) be our guide. Spell out what is and what is not in our products honestly & truthfully!

    Take a balanced, sensible, realistic and simple approach to skincare. Avoid taking an extreme position for its own sake. Be sensible about what is good for the customer and the planet.

    We are against human trafficking, slavery, child labor. We support fair trade. It is not good karma to build a business through the exploitation of less fortunate human beings.

  7. PREVENT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS

    Completely avoid animal testing and prevent cruelty to animals. Make products that are so clean and pure that they do not need animal testing. We test on ourselves!

    We believe in giving our customers all the information about our products and allowing them to make their own decisions. Customer education and knowledge sharing is a living principle at Hylunia.
